Pomelien studied at the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven), where she graduated from the Masters of Laws in 2017 (option private law and penal law).

Pomelien was admitted to the Brussels Bar in October 2017, where she specialises in privacy compliance and public procurement legislation.
